(Norfolk, VA) Edvance360, LLC, formerly Scholar360, a leading provider of eLearning services and software, has announced the unveiling of Edvance360 BrowserLock™, powered by Respondus, a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within Learning Management Systems (LMS). When students use the Edvance360 BrowserLock they are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications. When an assessment is started, students are locked into it until they submit it for grading.

The following sample features are included in the Edvance360 BrowserLock:

Tests cannot be exited until submitted
Inability to access other programs or applications
Printing and screen captures are disabled
Copy and paste capability are blocked
Users cannot enter URLs in browser address bars
Students cannot access external links
Students cannot utilize messaging software (e.g., Instant messengers like AIM).
